Where hi-tech meets humanity, the BT Internet Data Centre houses a host of computer servers as well as a customer care centre. Digital Glass® was used extensively to enhance interior visitor areas, the call centre and external glazing in the reception area. It was important to create designs and an environment that, although bespoke, could be changed or altered at any time.
The work was carried out during the fitting-out contract and therefore executed in a way that did not impede the main building works.
